Schubert de prop
Sunday 16 June 2019, 12 am at Sant Martí Church in Granera (Barcelona)
Schubert closely is exploring the Lied as it gathers Franz Schubert’s music with performance and art perfume. We go deeper into the XIXth century’s secular spirituality starting with three theme parts: Devotion, Melancholy and Joy. Classic singing gives relief to Goethe, Heine other Rellstab poetry with the synesthetic assistance of an actress and the tasting of the three perfumes composed for any of the themes.
If it is known that Schubertiades became Art celebrations in Schubert time, why are we still considering nowadays that the best way to offer his works is the simple voice and piano recital?
We’re proposing to go further from poetry-in-music aesthetic enjoyment, taken by the poetic images of the early german romanticism in catalan translation by Manel Capdevila. On the one hand, soprano Ulrike Haller and bass Antonio Fajardo voices. On the other, the smart and simple
theatrical performance of actress and rhapsode Dolça Cos. Three fragrances composed specially for the occasion by the perfumer Alberto Fernández are heating the ambience.
Sunday’s morning dyes into the great german poet’s ideas in a synesthetic adventure that awakens consciousnesses and twins the hearts of the audience. Hearts fulfilled by the joy of life and sharing the admiration towards the different arts without forgetting its fragility and impermanence.
