MARIONA LLOBERA, alto (Poppea)

​

    Born in Barcelona in 1981, she studies at the IPSI School of Barcelona, ​​becoming a component of Cor Vivaldi, under the direction of Òscar Boada, also studying piano.
    She has sung in different vocal groups: Cor Vivaldi, Capella de Música de Santa Maria del Pi, Xantria, and has participated as a soloist in the interregional days of Ochsenhausen (Germany).
    She began her singing studies with M. Pueyo and finished the Professional Degree to the Conservatori de Música de Sabadell with E. Cabero. She has continued her studies with M. Lladó, and with J. Domènech in the Aula de Música Antiga de Girona, and currently perfects the technique by Marta Mathéu.
    Since 2004 she has been part of the Cor de Cambra del Palau, under the direction of J. Casas, J. Vila i Casañas, and, currently, S. Halsey. She has also been a member, since 2008, of Cor Francesc Valls (Barcelona Cathedral), under the direction of P. Ll. Biosca She is part of the Capella Joan Brudieu and since 2014 collaborates with Barcelona Ars Nova (under the direction of M. Barrera). She is a founding member of the Vox Harmonica Ensemble.
    As a soloist she has interpreted the Magnificat of Cererols, the Te Deum of Charpentier, the Missa by Otto Nicolai and the Stabat Mater of Pergolesi, among others.
